What exactly is Medieval Times?
Medieval Times is an exciting, family-friendly dinner attraction inspired by an 11th century feast and tournament. Guests are served a four-course banquet and cheer for one of six Knights competing in the joust and other tests of skill.
What can I expect at a Medieval Times performance?
Expect almost two hours of jousting, swordsmanship, thrilling hand-to-hand combat, displays of extraordinary horsemanship and falconry as part of an exciting yet touching story set in Medieval Spain.
What else does Medieval Times have besides a dinner show?
Medieval Times also features an excellent bar, gift shop, Hall of Arms displaying medieval artifacts and a Museum of Torture.
What's on the menu?
Medieval Times' noble guests feast on garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, dessert of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages. A full-service bar is also available for adult guests. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
Is identification required for the purchase of alcohol?
Medieval Times requires a photo ID for the purchase of alcohol. In the United States, guests must be a minimum of 21 years old. In Canada, guests must be a minimum of 19 years old.
Where are Medieval Times' Castles located?
We currently have nine Castles: Kissimmee, FL, Buena Park, CA, Schaumburg, IL., Hanover, MD., Lyndhurst, NJ, Myrtle Beach, SC, Dallas, TX, Lawrenceville, GA., and Toronto, ON. Tickets for any of these locations can be purchased here. We are currently building the kingdom’s 10th castle in Scottsdale, AZ which is planned to open in Summer of 2019!
How can I get reservations or tickets?
Seating at the Castles is limited and reservations are strongly recommended. Our online ticketing allows for viewing of showtimes as well as purchase of tickets and enhancement packages. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-866-543-9637. Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, American Express and traveler's checks are accepted.
Castles open 75 minutes prior to showtime, and the shows run approximately two hours. The showtimes schedule varies by season and may be subject to change. Admission price includes the show, a four-course dinner and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages. Ticket prices vary at each Castle and do not include sales tax and gratuities. Groups of 15 or more should book reservations with the individual castle Group Sales Department as far in advance as possible.
What's the parking situation?
With the exception of our Toronto Castle, all Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Castles offer free on-site car, bus and handicapped parking. At our Toronto castle, public parking lots are available on the grounds. Seasonal rates apply.
How early should I arrive?
The Castle doors will open 75 minutes prior to the showtime printed on your tickets. Plan to arrive early; seating is first come, first served and to obtain the best seats available you should arrive as early as possible. Many shows sellout, so it takes time to get everyone in efficiently and safely. Once in the Hall of Arms there are plenty of activities and festivities to enjoy: visit the extensive gift shop, full-service bar, Museum of Torture and observe the Master Falconer and his birds of prey up close. Knighting ceremonies are also performed pre-show.
Is it true that we must eat with our hands?
Absolutely! Eating utensils were not used in the 11th century and we take you back! The Queen's feast includes garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potato, dessert of the Castle and beverages (may vary by castle).
What is the dress code?
The dress is casual.
What is the policy for lap children under 3 years old?
Children under the age of 3 are admitted free as long as they sit on adults' laps and eat from their plate. If you prefer the child to have his or her own seat and meal then the child rate would apply.

Don't worry! We can print your tickets at the box office the day of the show.
How can I get a job at Medieval Times?
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament employs more than 2,000 full- and part-time professionals in nine cities. I signed up for the Birthday Fellowship. When will I get my coupon?
Birthday coupon emails are automatically sent out 21 days and, again, two days before your birthday. If you signed up for the program within three weeks of your birthday, then you will only receive the second email.
How does the free Birthday Fellowship admission coupon work?
In order to gain free admission, you need to bring at least one person with you. It's more fun celebrating with others! Specifically, with the purchase of one full-priced adult admission, you will receive one free admission of equal or lesser value for the birthday celebrant.
The Birthday Fellowship coupon is valid for your birth month and the first seven days of the following month (for those end-of-the-month celebrants). Like with all of our discounts, this one may not be combined with any other discount, special offer or group rate. You may be asked to show proof of birthday at the castle prior to admittance as well. Also, the coupon can't be applied to prior purchases, and upgrade packages are additional. The free birthday admission is not available for the Scottsdale, AZ castle.
I signed up for Queen's Court or Birthday Fellowship emails, but haven't received anything. What's wrong?
Some Web-based email clients - mostly Hotmail and Yahoo - will filter our welcome emails into the spam or junk folders. If the email hasn't made it to your inbox, it may be sitting in the spam folder. If this is the case, be sure to mark it as "not junk," so the next email we send will not be filtered into the junk folder, too.
How do I submit a donation request?
We invite you to request a donation through DonationMatch, which helps us accept, track, and fulfill requests.Your organization's exempt status will be verified when you apply, and requests must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior to your event date. We do our best to fulfill as many requests as possible but due to the high volume of donation requests received each month, we are not able to respond to or support all requests.
