Jr Knight Training in Scottsdale

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at the Scottsdale Castle. Jr Knight Training gives kids the chance to step into the shoes of a knight and learn about the bravery and dedication it takes to defend the realm. This FREE experience is included with each child admission. Simply arrive early and be ready for adventure.

EVENT DETAILS

When: Thursday-Saturday, March 12-21, before the 4:00 pm or 4:15 pm showtime
Doors Open: 90 minutes before showtime
Training Starts: 1 hour before showtime. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated once training begins.
Where: Scottsdale Castle – 9051 East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85258
Who: All children ages 5 to 12 with tickets to that day’s 4:00 pm or 4:15 pm show only
Capacity: Space is limited. Training is available on a first come, first served basis.
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required. No Crocs, sandals, or flip-flops.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Weapons Demonstration & Hands-On Training: Training begins in the arena with a thrilling weapons demonstration led by our skilled knights and Weapons Master. Kids will learn basic sword techniques and discover what it takes to train like a knight.

Meet the King & Queen: Hear about the virtues of knighthood and what it means to become a modern-day knight, straight from royalty.

Group Knighting Ceremony: Upon completion of training, all participants are knighted as Honorary Knights of the Realm, a moment they will cherish forever!

Prepare for an afternoon filled with chivalry, bravery, and excitement at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Scottsdale.
